We have included this section to help and advise you when providing
us with material to be used in your audio-visual and print
work. If however you need to speak to an expert, we have a
full team on hand to help you. Just call the Technical Support:

Plug-ins
for this Site
This site
uses documents produced in the Adobe Acrobat pdf format. You
can view these by either using the
pdf browser plug-in
or the free Adobe Acrobat Reader application. This option
is set in your browser preferences. If you do not have the
plug-in
or Acrobat Reader application you can obtain it from: media@gamefairplay.com
Supplying
graphics for Web
- Generally
photographs are supplied as jpeg and logos/illustrations
as gif
- Resolution
should be 72ppi
- Remember
that smaller sizes means faster download time
Supplying
graphics for Print
- Photographs
should be supplied as tif files, or eps if they have a
clipping path - i.e. a method
used to select
an area of the image in isolation
- Illustrations
should be supplied as eps
- Resolution
should be 300ppi
Supplying
text for Print
Text to be
supplied for manipulation by Media Services should be supplied
as a standard word processed document
e.g. Word,
Wordperfect
Supplying
Customer prepared files for Print
The preferred
platform is Apple Macintosh (the industry standard), but files
from Windows
PC are acceptable if prepared correctly
as follows:
Files
that are supplied as ‘ready for print’ must
be supplied in an application that fully supports the printing
processes, e.g. colour separations, pantone colour library, resolution
and screen angles.
Preferred
applications are:
- Quark
Xpress
- Pagemaker
- Freehand
- Photoshop
- llustrator
Other
suitable applications:
If you
supply your files in Word, these may have to be re-originated
in a more appropriate package. Please
note
that any files requiring further manipulation could incur additional
charges.
